Horizon Data Center Solutions Names Jeff Kuerzi Vice President of Marketing

Dallas – August 7, 2009 -- Horizon Data Center Solutions of Dallas has hired media advertising and online marketing expert Jeff Kuerzi as Vice President of Marketing. Horizon, which operates mission critical data center facilities for clients around the world is also a fast growing global provider of hosting and managed technology services. The company has estimated 2009 revenues of $20 million.

Kuerzi, who most recently was Midwest Vice President for Centro, a Chicago-based digital media placement company, was with the Dallas Morning News as senior director of national advertising from 2003 – 2007. Prior to joining the Dallas Morning News, he was the sales manager for Belo Interactive’s Dallas Operations and handled sales and marketing for Kentucky.com while at Knight Ridder Digital.

In this newly created position, Kuerzi will be responsible for all demand generation programs and advertising, including interactive initiatives and customer information campaigns. He also will direct the company’s website development and public relations teams and will advise management on strategic marketing programs.

Mr. Kuerzi received his MBA from the Gatton School of Business at the University

of Kentucky, where he also received his bachelor’s degree in marketing. He resides in Rowlett with his family.
